Under this program:

  • Mothers who are pregnant will be given Rs 1,000 for registration. 
  • Whenever they undergo a medical examination, they will be given Rs 1,500, which makes a total of Rs 6,000. 
  • When the child is born, Rs 4,000 will be given at birth. 
  • When the child undergoes their first medical examination, Rs 2,000 will be given for this examination.

 How to get financial assistance Pregnant women and mothers of newborns will be provided with financial assistance at various stages before and after pregnancy.

  •  An initial registration bonus:  Pregnant women will be given 1 thousand rupees on registering at the health center or Maryam Health Clinic. 
  • Assistance with medical examination: Women will be given 1500 rupees on every regular check-up during pregnancy, which makes a total of 6 thousand rupees. 
  • Assistance with childbirth: If the child is born in a government health center, the mother will be given 4 thousand rupees.
  •  First medical examination of the newborn: If the first medical examination of the child is done within 15 days of its birth, the mother will be given 2 thousand rupees. 
  • Registration of the birth certificate: Parents who register their child’s birth certificate will be given a reward of five thousand rupees.
  •  Vaccination support: Every time the child is vaccinated, the mother will be given 2 thousand rupees, which makes a total of 4 thousand rupees.
