Saudi Govt Distributes 84,500 Shelter & Winter Kits for Pakistan
To help the needy during the harsh winter season, the King Salman Relief Center has started distributing 84,500 shelter and winter kits for Pakistan. The project is for the poor and needy families who may affected by the severe cold. The charity campaign aims to provide basic necessities to people living in the snowy and coldest areas of Pakistan so that they can stay safe and warm.
In a grand ceremony held in Islamabad, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, Federal Minister of Pakistan Rana Tanveer Hussain, and Director of King Salman Relief Center Pakistan Abdullah Al-Baqmi officially inaugurated the project. The ceremony highlighted the strong brotherly relations and welfare initiatives between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, under which emphasis was placed on directly benefiting the deserving people.

Phase-Wise Distribution Plan
To create an organized and efficient distribution, it will be distributed neighborhood-wise in phases, as described below.
Winter Kits Distribution
- Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 16,000 kits
- Balochistan: 12,000 kits
- Gilgit-Baltistan: 10,000 kits
- Jammu and Kashmir: 6,000 kits
- Sindh: 4,000 kits
- Punjab: 2,000 kits
Each winter kit includes essential items such as:
- Two blankets
- Warm shawls for men and women
- Winter clothes for older thieves

Through these joint efforts, the goal of Surman Rafiq was to help more than 5.5 million 91,500 people in Pakistan, to assess their needs and to provide them with everything they need. They have helped vulnerable communities in Pakistan. They have helped them a lot during the season, both financially and by bringing them a lot of clothes and Shelters.
